Pismo Beach | Ryan + Lauren | Jaime & Chase of The Collective Photographers

Who says fog isn’t beautiful! It was 6:45am and we were anxious to met up for a long anticipated causal portrait session with Ryan + Lauren. The morning light was absent, but the central coast fog was there in full force. After chatting for a bit over a cup of coffee from Splash Cafe on Pismo Beach’s strip, we decided to brave the fog and go fishing. I’m so glad we did! It was a blast and these two were just a joy to spend some time with! We can’t wait for your wedding!

Dolphin Bay | Duke + Angela Wedding

The weather was a bit of a  problem child. First the clouds dropped, casting a foggy mist over the land and hiding the sun from this couple. Although this was present, Duke + Angela had eyes only for them. Reminding us that despite what was going on around us all, they were getting married and committing to a lifetime together. The love they felt for one another was written like a well versed song, it was loud enough for everyone to hear. Through the carriage ride and up until sunset the sun remained hidden behind the clouds. For just one moment, we were graced with the warm rays of the sun, as it was setting beneath the fog and cast a beautiful golden light on the couple as a perfect wedding present to end the perfect day. Meet Duke + Angela.

Hammer Sky Vineyard | Bev + Banjo Wedding

Down the long windy road of Vineyard Dr nestled in the hills of Paso Robles is the grandeur of Hammer Sky Vineyards.  The moss trees spoke years of history and life, as their full branches bent towards the earth casting a perfect spot for a romantic meeting.

This beautiful location couldn’t be complete without a beautiful couple and Banjo & Bev were more than we could ask for.  Emotions were written all over Banjo’s face as he was preparing to see his bride for the first time.  If there is one thing this couple was not afraid of it’s emotion.  From the joy they expressed throughout the whole day to the mounds of laughter coming forth from both of them, this couple was truly a joy to spend the day with!  A gorgeous couple, at a gorgeous venue, what could be better than that!

Here’s to you Banjo & Bev, may your days be filled with much joy and lots more laughter!!

Dana Powers House | Patrick + Jessica’s Wedding | Nipomo, CA

What a great way to start the year! It was such a blast hanging out with Patrick and Jessica! We are so happy for them both and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful! The day really couldn’t have been any better for these two. Family and friends came from afar to join this epic occasion. We hope you enjoy this small taste of what the day was all about!

Bishops Peak SLO | Patrick+Jessica | Styled Engagement

The day was warm and the smell of citrus was on the breeze. Everyone seemed to have the same idea, get outdoors and enjoy the unbelievable day in January. Denner Vineyards | Paso Robles, California | Jaime+Chase

Chase and I have always dreamed of shooting a Vineyard wedding. We’ve teamed up with Mike Larson, and The Collective Photographers and shoot beautiful California weddings. We couldn’t be more excited! This was such a dream come true!! This fall we spent many of our weekends flying out to San Luis Obispo, shooting weddings at beautiful venues and enjoying the California sun! The photographers Mike, Rachel, Jake, Chloe, William, Meagan, and Sophie have become family. Not only did we get to shoot along side of them, but we welcomed into the TCP with open arms. We love you guys and look forward to working out in California more!

Wedding | Matt + Sara’s Wedding | Despite the Rain | Jaime+Chase

 

It was a gloomy morning. Chase & I had been contemplating the weather over Starbucks coffee. Will it rain? No. Will the clouds break? Yes.

 

But we were both wrong. It did rain, poured in fact. No, no sunshine at all. You would think that would dampen the mood (pun intended).

 

Despite the rain, Matt + Sara’s wedding was beautiful. They were real troopers, tromping through the rain and rocking out killer shots! They are such a fun loving couple, but we’ll let their images speak the rest.

Engagement, Styled Sesssions | When Words Aren’t Enough | Ryan + Devin Engagement | Jaime+Chase

Sometimes words are just not enough. Laughter replaces most of the words and you just find yourself in fits of giggles. Sometimes just getting choked up with emotion is the only replacement found for the words you wish to speak. It’s like that with these two. We’ve experienced both of these with Ryan+Devin. They are those rare people you can totally be yourself with and trust with all of your heart. You really couldn’t ask for two better friends.

They watched and supported us as we committed ourselves before God, family, and friends to one another this summer at our wedding.  Now we get to witness the same beautiful journey. It’s a wonderful thing we get to behold, a love that is deeply rooted in a relationship with God, a love that is based on a commitment of respect, a love that is bound in friendship. This chokes me up and give me a joyful excitement at the same time. Come April I’m going to be a wreck. I’ll have to carry 3 times the normal tissue ratio. (1 for me, 1 for Chase, 1 for Devin) We’re so blessed and honored to be apart of this union and the steps that lead up to the day Ryan and Devin become One.

Personal | Jaime + Chase

Life is a journey. Sometimes it’s rocky. At times it’s joyous! We get that.

Our story is a little like an old Hollywood movie. One whose leading man pursued the love of his life through all obstacles and whose heroine was determined to never fall in love again. Just as in the old Hollywood films, love prevailed. It triumphed over stubborn pride and the strong desire to live the constant pursual of adventure. Let’s face it, life is an adventure. What’s better than to spend it authentically with the one you love. Truly love. A passionately beautiful emotional love.

Our story is an adventure. A journey. A true love.
